Another Huawei device is getting the Android 7.0 Nougat treatment. Honor 8 will receive the software update starting tomorrow, along with the EMUI 5 interface #mobilemagic
Starting with February 10th, all Honor 8 devices will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update. This means that those of you who own such a smartphone will have access to the EMUI5 update, the same interface you’ve seen on Huawei Mate 9. With it, you’ll finally be able to build an app drawer, something many Honor 8 users have been dreaming of since the device’s launch.
Plus, you’ll have other perks, too, such as the ability to customize notifications and status bar, to rearrange settings list as well as a shortcut to switch between user profiles. The software update will also help complete 90% of core operations in 3 steps and bring Doze More on the Go, besides other perks (don’t forget the multi-window mode!).
In other words, your Honor 8 will get a quick refresh, enough to make your life easier and complete your tasks faster.
