Another Person Just Drove into the Ocean Because the GPS Told Them So

Is this a computer bug or natural selection? 

It’s the second time in recent months that someone drives their car straight into the ocean in Hawaii, just because the GPS told them that’s the way. Yes, it’s The Office in real life and hilariously, we have video of it.

“It was so confidently done; they didn’t have a look of panic on their face. They were still smiling,” said a witness to one of the incidents.

“In true Michael Scott fashion, two Hawaii tourists followed their GPS right into the water.

On April 29, a tourist drove a Dodge Caravan into the Honokohau Small Boat Harbor in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island, according to Hawaii News Now. 

Christie Hutchinson, who was at the harbor after sailing with a group of friends and her husband, posted a video of the event on social media. She said the two tourists were using GPS to find a manta ray tour and may have been confused because there was a car on the ramp to pull a boat out of the water, according to the Washington Post.”

TO THE RESCUE: A sailboat crew acted fast after tourists accidentally drove their car into Honokohau Harbor while following GPS instructions.
