The iPhone SE launched in March 2016 – it had a 64 bit A9 processor, an M9 motion coprocessor and was selling with a starting price of $400.
The phone proved to be quite popular but it was eventually discontinued following the release of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR.
Apple allowed those who missed the phone to grab it again recently: the company had put the devices back on the shelves with even lower prices. The 32GB version was sold for $249 while the 128GB one for just $299.
Both of them were available in space gray, rose gold, gold and silver color variants.
It’s not known why Apple decided to bring this particular smartphone out without a warning, but it’s most likely because it’s been clearing out some of the stock it had left.
Unfortunately, both versions are currently being listed as ‘out of stock‘ already and there’s no word out on if Apple is planning to bring them back on the shelves.
