People around the world are being advised to stay home as much as possible, something that is proving to be difficult for some more than others. Companies are adapting to the new ”normal” and are trying to help make people’s lives easier in these tough times.
Apple is making some books and audiobooks available for free on Apple Books. This offer is available for a limited time, and it’s unclear if it’s only rolling out in the US. Some Apple Books users with US accounts received push notifications informing them about the promotion:
”Enjoy a good book, on us: Explore free books, read-along for kids, cozy mysteries, and audiobooks for the whole family.”
To see if you are eligible for the freebies, just go to the Book Store section of the app and tap Featured Collection. A section called “Free book for everyone, from kids to adults” should appear at the top
