If you’re in the US, don’t expect your nearest Apple Store to reopen anytime soon.
As a memo obtained by Bloomberg, states, Apple Stores form the US won’t reopen anytime soon.
The Giant followed the World Health Organization measures for the COVID-19 pandemic and closed its stores accordingly.
According to the report, Apple SVP Deirdre O’Brien informed the retail employees that stores will continue to stay closed until the beginning of May.
Apple stores were supposed to be reopened by the end of March until the company decided to keep will them closed until the pandemic situation will get better, and listed a message on their website announcing they will remain closed “until further notice.”
The question is how this memo is in line with the stay-at-home orders that still in place across the US until at least middle April. We’re guessing users will just have to wait until further guidance from local governments and public health experts to benefit of Apple’s services.
