Apple TV Plus will soon have a WeWork mini-series featuring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway.
Called WeCrashed, this show chronicles the rise and fall of WeWork, a coworking space company whose meteoric rise was matched by a head spinning fall.
Immediately after laying off thousands, WeWork CEO Adam Neumann exited with a golden parachute of nearly $1.7 billion.
Described as an eccentric character, CEO Adam Neumann will be played by Jared Leto and supported by Anne Hathaway as his wife, Rebekah Neumann.
The series is based on the Wondery podcast of the same name, WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork and will show how Neumann built WeWork from a single, run-down space to an over-inflated company valued at $47 billion before the public offering, when it crashed at $9 billion.
The story was also told in a Hulu documentary last year, called WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn.
The new fictionalized series will debut on Apple TV Plus on March 18th and have a new episode weekly until April 22nd.
