The companies joined forces and debuted at CES the Belkin Soundform Elite, an ambitious (and pricey!) smart speaker that embodies each company’s specialty.

The Soundform Elite gets its sounds from Devialet and its embedded wireless charger from Belkin.

Yes, it’s a 2 for 1 device, but how will that work? Will your phone shake in its cradle if you’re listening to some rap on Spotify?

The Soundform Elite uses the Devialet Speaker Active Matching (SAM) technology that ensures clear sound at high volumes.

The company’s signature woofer configuration that reduces bass vibrations, so your phone is secure on the 10W Qi wireless charger pad.

For the smart part of the speaker, the Soundform Elite features Google Assistant.

Soundform Elite will arrive on shelves this spring and will retail for $299.
