What’s next for Sony in mobile matters, after unveiling a performant and affordable phone at MWC at the beginning of the year? An even better follow-up, Chinese sites tell us. The rumor is Sony will introduce a powerful camera combo with Xperia M Ultra #mobilemagic
What does that mean? Well, according to a post on Weibo, the Sony flagship could come with a 23MP OSS (optical steady shot) dual rear camera (24mm lens and f/2.2 aperture + 75mm lens and f/2.2 aperture) AND a 16MP front sensor with a 25mm lens and f/2.0 aperture. While the sensor will be similar to the Xperia X series, it might come with double power, not to mention the great upgrade to the selfie cam they are supposedly making. As sensors go, it would only be compared to Oppo F1 Plus’ specs, although it doesn’t feature their Beautify bundle.
Besides putting together the best of the best as camera units go in the M Ultra, Sony could be equipping the phone with Snapdragon 652 chipset, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, a large 4,280mAh battery, USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor.
The same post suggests Xperia C5 Ultra could be followed by the C6; stay tuned to find out how many of these rumors will become true.
