Xiaomi is not going to end its gaming smartphone line any time soon. On the contrary, the upcoming Black Shark 2 just made an appearance on performance testing portal Geekbench.
The phone, which appeared on Geekbench under the name of blackshark AAA, will have a Snapdragon 855 under the hood and up to 12GB of RAM. Geekbench awarded it 3516 points for single-core performance and 11413 points for the multi-core.
The handset will feature the Liquid Cool 3.0 and we also know that the Black Shark 2 received a 3C certification, which means that it will support 27W fast charging.
Slash Leaks also revealed a photo that shows the back of the phone. This model looks considerably tougher than its predecessors and also features a vertically-placed dual camera.
We don’t have a lot of information spec-wise about the phone but we know, thanks to a Weibo announcement, that Xiaomi will launch the Black Shark 2 on March 18, at an event that will take place in Beijing.
