A Transformers LEGO that actually transforms? It will be here on June 1st as the perfect way to celebrate Children’s Day – but it won’t come cheap.
The LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime is a huge, articulated Optimus Prime G1 action figure with 1,508 pieces. 13.5 inches tall as the famous Optimus Prime and 27-inches long turned into the semi truck, it has 19 points of articulation, so it can actually transform.
To go from Optimus Prime to the truck shape you won’t have to reassemble any Lego pieces, just fold your build.
The LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime will cost $170 and launch on June 1st.
To make it even more appealing, if that were possible, this LEGO Transformers set also has pieces so you can build the famous Optimus Prime weapons and accessories, from the blaster to the jetbot and even the “Autobot Matrix of Leadership which can be stored in the chest chamber.”
