Can you think as fast as you type? With the CharaChorder Lite, that might be more impossible than you think, since it can let you type close to 250 words per minute.
While it looks like a regular QWERTY keyboard, the CharaChorder Lite is actually more like a physical predictive keyboard…or a piano, if you wanna think like that.
It actually lets you type entire words using “chords” like on a piano – press a combination of keys simultaneously and the keyboard will fill in the gaps and add the entire word in the document.
According to the makers, once you learn the 100 most common shortcuts, you’ll be off to the races in terms of typing speeds.
Until you get the hang of those “chords”, you can also type normally, one letter at a time.
You can also create your own chord shortcuts. The keyboard has mechanical keys, a LED-powered backlight and USB-C connectivity.
The CharaChorder Lite is now available only on Kickstarter and can be pre-ordered for as low as $99 – a $200 “early bird” discount ahead of the December launch date. You can find the campaign and the rest of the info on Kickstarter.
