Chinese Smartphone Might Deliver A Whooping 8 GB RAM, But Do We Need It?

Bigger means better right? Not necessarily. While users are in no hurry to increase their smartphones’ RAM size, manufacturers keep coming up with more handsets that boast huge data storage. After just a couple of phones with 6GB RAM saw the light of day, a Chinese company could launch this summer an 8GB RAM “heavyweight champion”! #mobilemagic

According to GizChina , Le Eco is the one that could make this bold move. Its upcoming Le Max 2 would be equipped with 8GB RAM, a  Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and a 25MP rear camera, to top it off. Although the odds of making this happen in August (the rumored launching date) are slim, if they were to accomplish it, who would give up their phones for a bigger RAM? Do we even need more?

Those of you who don’t spend every waking hour playing the hottest games of the moment might not see the point of it.

What do you think – would you change your phone or even brand of choice for Le Eco’s 8GB flagship?
