When it comes to Alexa, Amazon has been cooking something lately, and it’s now ready to reveal what. Amazon’s fall Alexa hardware event is programmed for September 24th at 1 PM ET and it’s an invite-only event, suggesting it won’t be publicly streamed online. Amazon’s Devices and Services team says they will be sharing “some news.”, so we’ll keep an ear out on what will be announced.
We can take a safe guess Amazon will launch new smart speakers and some kind on smart displays. Last year, at the same event, the company released the Echo Studio speaker the Echo Show 8 smart display, and a third-generation Echo speaker.
Also, last fall Amazon unveiled the Echo Frames glasses, which had built-in Alexa, and the Echo Loop, a smart ring. This suggests we might see some unexpected pieces of hardware this year too.
