You’ve heard about smart plugs, now get ready for smart outlets. More precisely the In-Wall Smart Outlet from ConnectSense that the company has introduced during CES 2019, which has just kicked off today.
The Smart Outlet is not only capable of monitoring the total power consumption of each outlet but can also do it in real-time; this way, the users can track their energy reading and keep an eye on it at all times.
In addition to that, the In-Wall Smart Outlet can send out notifications if any of its consumption data is unusual in any way. It’s capable of regulating its own internal temperature but, if it happens to overheat, it will let you know.
It also comes with a companion app which will help the users link it up to their account of choice, be it the Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant and also give a helping hand in scheduling any individual socket and device plugged into it.
