Deltarune Chapter 2 Set to Release September 17th

Deltarune is back as the game’s developer Toby Fox has announced Deltarune Chapter 2 is set to release on Mac and PC September 17^th.

According to The Verge, Toby Fox announced the game at a Deltarune livestream hosted in celebration of Undertale’s sixth anniversary.

Currently only the first installment, Deltarune Chapter 1, has been released. In many ways it follows a lot of the same beats as Toby Fox’s first major hit, Undertale, in its aesthetics, world, and overall story. Even some of the characters make an appearance across both titles.

However, while set in a similar universe, the game is not a sequel. It has its own set of battle mechanics, enemies, characters, and more.

Deltarune Chapter 2 will certainly give more insight on Toby Fox’s vision as more of the narrative is set to unfold.
