Android phone users have long looked at Snapdragon chipsets as the best there are but Dimensity is really catching up, so make sure you work on any biases you might have!
According to the latest benchmarks published by AnTuTu for the month of October, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000+ beat Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
The chipset was on board the ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate pictured above, which now leads the top 10 best Android smartphones.
The model tested was the one with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage, which helped it score 1,123,036 points on AnTuTu.
The next on the list are all Snapdragon-powered phones. Number two is the 16GB of RAM + 256GB model for the OnePlus Ace pro, followed by the impressive iQOO 10 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage (we did tell you in our review that this is one powerful phone!).
Still, on AnTuTu’s SoC performance ladder, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 sits way above the tie between Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the Dimensity 9000+.
The top of the best Android phones in September is continued with Black Shark 7S Pro and Lenovo Legion Y70 coming in at the fourth and fifth position, respectively.
