In a leak coming from Drone DJ, we can reportedly see what the unannounced DJI Mavic 2 model will look like. With a sleeker looking body and seemingly larger motors, the Mavic 2 drone is intriguing.

It still uses the same folding mechanism as its predecessor but it seems to feature a removable gimbal. It might be because DJI plans for it to be used as a stabilized camera.

Alongside the drone, we can see a second camera and gimbal assembly, which hints at possible interchangeable systems.

The drone does seem to have front and side obstacle avoidance sensors visible, which means the drone would have 360-degree sensing technology. If that is true, the sensors will most likely spread out along the bottom and the back of it as well.

The leak calls it Mavic 2 and not Mavic Pro 2, which was the expected model to come out so it might just mean DJI has two models in the making, not just one.

DJI has not yet confirmed or denied the leak, but we will most likely hear about at least one model from them quite soon.
