One of the biggest gaming events in the world was forced to skip last year’s edition but this year will be back – just in a different formula.
E3 2021 is on track to proceed this June but there’s good news and bad news.
The good news is that E3 2021 will be a free event, with everyone around the world being able to attend. Since it’s the first time this has happened, there is cause for celebration.
And no, it’s not like a free-to-play game where the makers have you pay for various perks, like games journalist Geoff Keighley tweeted.
The E3 organizers said on Twitter that “there will be no elements at E3 2021 that will be behind a paywall.”
The bad news is that, obviously, E3 2021 will be an all-digital event for safety reasons.
