The rumor mill has been working overtime but we now know that the Poco X3 Pro will launch on March 22, a week earlier than the floated date.
The news came from Poco themselves, who sent out posters announcing the launch.
The sequel to the best phone deal of the year is rumored to upgrade the chipset to a yet unannounced Snapdragon 860.
That would mean a serious boost in power as compared to the Poco X3, which still handled beautifully everything we threw at it in our review despite the mid-range Snapdragon 732G chipset.
Since the previous model had a gaming chipset, it’s safe to expect the Poco X3 Pro to go for the same thing.
Based on some certifications from a while back, we know that the Poco X3 Pro could be a 4G phone, not 5G as the previous model.
We can bet with a fair amount of certainty that it will still have the large 120Hz display and the big 5,200mAh battery but we hope that 33W fast charge will be revamped, since other vendors are now offering a lot faster charging options.
Other than that, nothing is really set in stone for the Poco X3 Pro other than the launch date.
Mark March 22nd in your calendar and come back for all the details!
