Xiaomi’s latest smartphone (ahem, phablet) is a couple of hours away. Tomorrow, on May 10th, the Chinese company will unveil Mi Max, their super thin device with great camera powers #mobilemagic
If you haven’t been keeping up with the latest news on the device, let us fill you in. The Xiaomi Mi Max will have a 6.44-inch display at FHD 1080 x 1920 resolution, taking it into phablet territory. It’s probably going to feature a Snapdragon 650 SoC, just 2GB of RAM but a powerful 4500mAh battery. You won’t be able to stop taking photos (as Xiaomi suggests in the promotional videos) with the 15-megapixel camera, especially since you have 16GB of storage to save them for future viewing.
When it comes to appearance, the Mi Max takes 80 points from us for the super thin profile and curved metal back. You’ll see it in all its glory tomorrow, at launch, although the phablet isn’t likely to be sold in USA.
