Even if you have the best seat on business class, long flights are dreadful. You’ll never feel as comfortable as in your own bedroom and you won’t feel as zen as at the desk. Determined to bring your home up, on an airplane, Panasonic designed a business class seat solution that probably fulfills most of your travelling dreams.
With the help of B/E Aerospace, Teague and Formation Design Group, the company imagined a smart seat capsule that puts at your disposable everything you need to work, sleep or be entertained when you’re not on the ground. Let’s start with the seat – it’s specifically designed so you can rest in any position you prefer – lying down, sitting back or up. Depending on your activities – working or sleeping – you can adjust the temperature, turn the lights surrounding the seat on or off and open or close the sliding door that ensures your privacy.
Of course, you’re connected to all the media you need; there’s a 24-inch 4K display screen, device charging and personal mood lighting, all of which are connected to your mobile. You have a premium tablet controller at your disposal too, so you can check out flight information. It’s also a handy way to control the LED lighting, adjusting it to your mood and seat position, so you can get a good night’s sleep or some productive hours, if that’s the case.
This device is a new, attractive way for Panasonic to deliver in-flight entertainment, as the brand is strengthening its partnerships with more than 300 airline customers.
