Just like Razer and Asus, Gigabyte debuted their latest high-end laptops that use the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 / 2080 Super graphics cards.
However, where the previous two brands focused mostly on pleasing gamers with dual screens and the like, Gigabyte’s Aero 17 laptop will fly pretty well with content creators as well.
The 17-inch model can be specced up to the latest 10th-gen Intel Core i9-10980HK 8th-cores processors that can clock as high as 5.3 GHz.
However, the star here is the 4K display with HDR400 capability, so content creators can edit 4K HDR videos with real-time previews – and without frying their legs when working from the couch.
“GIGABYTE’s exclusive Windforce cooling technology gets a new upgrade with the AERO. All-new Windforce Infinity comes with two 71-blade fans and 5 heat pipes that increases overall heat dissipation by 30%, insuring that the AERO remains calm and steady even under heavy gaming or multi-tasking large apps and files.
This is the true light and thin performance laptop leader. 71-blade Fansx2 5 Heatpipes 30% Better Cooling “Windforce Infinity” heat dissipation capacity has increased by 30% compared with the previous GIGABYTE model.”
Of course, regular folks can enjoy the 4K HDR movies from various streaming platforms.
Other notable aspects are the “all-day battery” and connectivity options: you have Thunderbolt, USB Type C and HDMI ports, alongside a UHS-II SD card reader.
The Gigabyte Aero 17 will also be available with a FullHD screen in a configuration that starts at $1,699.
Obviously, the Aero 17 HDR has an eye-watering price tag – $2,299 for the cheapest model and $4,299 for the flagship.
