Want to up your Apple TV game? Then, take some pointers from this guy, who managed to turn a GameBoy into a remote.
Otto Climan knows how to have some fun! The YouTuber turned his custom GameBoy Color into an Apple TV remote.
How? By creating a custom cartridge to run different pieces of software. The YouTuber had to develop his own ROM to integrate with the IR sensor so the Apple TV could talk to it.
Then, he mapped the d-pad and ancillary buttons to match the user interface of the Apple product.
The rest is sweet, sweet design – a white case with a vintage Apple logo that really pulls the whole thing together.
