As companies have started implementing hybrid policies, a flexible system is required to allow employees the flexibility to work remotely for a certain interval of time per week.
On that note, Google Calendar just came up with a new feature that will allow users to specify the location where they are working from straight on the calendar, with the possibility of creating a working location routine for every week, invite others to an event or sharing your work location with them.
For those employees looking to work both remotely and in the office, the new Google Calendar feature will be very useful.
Google explained that the new feature that allows employees to show where they are working in Google Calendar comes as a helping hand for the employees to better collaborate during this confusing hybrid work situation.
While the feature will be available over the following tiers: Google Workspace Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus, Nonprofits, and G Suite Business – it won’t be available for G Suite Basic, Google Workspace Essentials, Business Starter, Enterprise Essentials, and Education Fundamentals plans.
