Google Pixel 4a Wireless Feature Just Leaked

The wait is almost over, Google’s Pixel 4a is supposed to arrive next month, and as a result, more leaks are coming our way. This time is from phone case maker ERS, which is basically confirming our information so far about the design of the upcoming Pixel 4a.

We’ve recently reported about the smartphone’s camera capabilities:

According to a promotional image ESR’s ‘Pixel 4a Metal Kickstand Phone Case’, the case will permit the phone to charge on a wireless pad, which makes us believe that the upcoming Google Pixel 4a could have wireless charging capabilities. This is the first time we come across something suggesting the smartphone would feature wireless charging, as the Pixel 3a didn’t have wireless charging, and no leaks pointed to Pixel 4a having charge wirelessly.

The ESR renders also points out the smartphone will also integrate a punch-hole selfie camera, which contributes to a design with a display with slimmer bezels.

We’ll see how the upcoming Pixel 4a will perform in terms of camera capabilities, and the expectations are pretty high, as the Pixel phones have managed to deliver impressive photos that could easily compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus or the iPhone 11 Pro, for example.

With a modern design, wireless charging and photo capabilities I think it is safe to say the Pixel 4a could be a competitor for the iPhone SE. Do you agree?
