Google Pixel Watch To Have the Most Amount of RAM on a Smartwatch Today

Google Pixel Watch was teased – to everyone’s surprise – at the I/O 2022 event a couple of weeks ago. The design was confirmed, as were the Android features and its “no iOS” policy. Now, we have more details regarding the specs of the first smartwatch from Google and they are… good!

Turns out, Pixel Watch will be a strong contender, equipped with the best hardware the industry can offer right now.

For one, it will work on Samsung’s Exynos 9110 with a co-processor to go along with it. The job of the second chip will be to offload various tasks away from the main one and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Google use a Tensor unit for this fella.

When it comes to memory and storage, Pixel Watch will stand out from the crowd.

The smartwatch is rumored to come with double the amount of storage on Wear OS watches nowadays – about 32GB of storage.

Even better, it should feature the most amount of RAM on a smartwatch today, according to 9to5google. The presumption is it will surpass even Galaxy Watch 4’s 1.5GB of RAM although we don’t know by how much.

As for health sensors, it’s obvious Google will take advantage of their Fitbit acquisition. Pixel Watch should have some Fitbit-blessed heart rate sensors, as well as SpO2 (blood oxygen) and ECG (electrocardiogram) monitoring.

Stay tuned for more info about this year’s most exciting smartwatch release!
