Google has been working hard on bringing the Fast Pair feature to a number of additional devices as of last year, after initially releasing it alongside the Jaybird Tarah Bluetooth headphones.
Now Google has revealed a list of additional devices that will benefit from it. The users will have more devices to choose from so if they were unsure they wanted the AirPods or something else, this might just be the factor that will help them decide.
The updated list of Fast Pair devices is as follows:
- Anker Spirit Pro GVA
- Anker SoundCore Flare+ (Speaker)
- JBL Live 220BT
- JBL Live 400BT
- JBL Live 500BT
- JBL Live 650BT
- Jaybird Tarah
- 1More Dual Driver BT ANC
- LG HBS-SL5
- LG HBS-PL6S
- LG HBS-SL6S
- LG HBS-PL5
- Cleer Ally Plus
During the Google I/O, the company announced the upcoming experiences for Fast Pair devices and one of them is the Android’s capability of displaying battery information for both the earbuds and their case. This particular feature will make an appearance later in this year.
If you’ve lost your earbuds and they are Fast Pair compatible, you will be able to find them easier than ever before: all you’ll have to do is search for them via the Find My Device app or the website. The information displayed will tell you when they were last used and where they are. In addition to that, you will be able to unpair or ring them if they are in range.
Android Q will bring about a detailed page for your Bluetooth device that will include links to Find My Device, Assistant settings where available and other OEM settings.
