Horizon Forbidden West May Be Delayed to 2022

Horizon Forbidden West is one of the most anticipated games coming out for the PlayStation 5. Yet, fans may have to wait a little longer for the game to release.

According to VGC, GamesBeat journalist and industry insider Jeff Grubb said his source thinks Sony will push Horizon Forbidden West from holiday 2021 to sometime in 2022. An official announcement is expected during a September State of Play.

If this is true, Horizon Forbidden West would be the second major PlayStation 5 game to be delayed to 2022 after God of War Ragnörak.

Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to the PlayStation 4 classic Horizon Zero Dawn. The game is expected to follow series protagonist Aloy in a completely new world with new enemies to defeat, warring factions to meet, and landscapes to explore.
