A trailer uploaded to GameSpot Trailers’ YouTube channel provided an update on Horizon Zero Dawn’s PC port. For starters, the game will be the Complete Edition, meaning all DLC will be included with the purchase of the game. Additionally, the game has been optimized in several ways for PC gamers. There will be Ultra-Wide Support, unlocked framerates, dynamic foliage and better reflections, a plethora of other graphical customization options, and enhanced controller options.
What this all means is that Horizon Zero Dawn will look and play better than it ever did on the PlayStation. This is not surprising, given the hardware limitations of consoles versus their PC counterparts.
For PC players eager to try our this improved version of Horizon Zero Dawn, the wait is almost over. On August 7th, the game will go live. Players can pre-purchase it for $49.99 on Steam.
