HP Unveils the x360 14, Its Thinnest Chromebook Ever

HP x360-14 Chromebook white

Just as Lenovo opened pre-orders for the Yoga Chromebook unveiled at IFA 2018, yet another attractive Chromebook makes its debut. Meet the XP x360 14, HP’s thinnest Chromebook ever.

While this Chromebook lacks a sexy name, it does sport the Bang & Olufsen brand for its speakers. It’s also just 16 mm thin, with narrow bezels, and sports a ceramic-looking finish for its white case. Can’t afford that luxurious Spectre Folio? This might be an alternative.

On the specifications front, you can expect a standard Chromebook experience. You can pick between an i3 or an i5 Intel 8th gen processor but for the rest you cannot expect too much customization. The HP x360 14 comes with a 14-inch 1080p display, a battery life of up to 14 hours, 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC storage. While an SSD would have been preferable, at least HP did not skimp on connectivity. The x360 14 has two USB-C and one USB-A 3.1 ports, alongside a MicroSD slot.

The starting price for this convertible Chromebook is $599 and you can already place a preorder. The launch date is October 21, so you won’t have to wait long.
