Instagram Now Lets You Buy Nike, Zara and ColourPop Straight From the App

After months of leaks pointing to this Instagram feature, the platform now finally gets Checkout on Instagram.

This means that, from now on, you’ll be able to buy from select retailers by tapping an item, picking your options and paying, all without leaving the Instagram app.

Hot brands like Nike, Zara and ColourPop Cosmetics are all part of the initial wave of companies offering their wares directly on the Instagram app. All in all, 23 brands are part of this first wave, with many more sure to follow.

The most heavily represented category is definitely make-up and beauty products, with Anastasia Beverly Hills, ColourPop, KKW, Huda Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics, MAC, Nars, NYX and Ouai Hair all making an appearance.

Then you have all the style you need, from high-end Balmain, Dior, Oscar de la Renta and Prada, going to the mid-range with Michael Kors and covering the essentials with Zara, Uniqlo and H&M. Athleisure is represented through Nike, Adidas and Outdoor Voices.

Warby Parker is there to throw some shade as well.

As you can see, the line-up has the most grammable brands in 2019, so the Instagram checkout button is surely going to be a hit.
