According to a report coming in from 9to5Mac, a new icon was found within iOS which could give us a pretty good look at the 2018 iPad Pro. The same one we might be seeing during the Apple event that will be held in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
The icon in question shows an iPad that has rounded corners but no Home button or notch. There are also thin bezels and volume buttons on the side, with the sleep/wake button sitting at the top.
It all fits in with the rumors that have been circulating about the iPad this fall – a larger display and the fact that it will come with the Face ID system, allowing you to unlock the device just by looking at it.
We’ve also heard that it might come with USB-C ports and an updated Apple pencil. There is also the possibility that the iPad will have no headphone jack, as it might be following the recent iPhone trend.
We’ll know everything on Tuesday and we will keep you posted.
