In 2013, we heard some weak rumors about a 2-in-1 device running on Android from Lenovo. Three years later, the company is ready to make the rumors, reality.
Images with the laptop/tablet have leaked from Ghana National Communications Authority, showcasing a Lenovo Yoga-inspired device with an Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor, a full keyboard, a 10-inch full HD display and, of course, a rotating hinge so you can use it as a tablet too. It’s equipped with a front and rear camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with optional cellular data. All this, on an Android device.
If your main concern is how will apps run smoothly on a laptop display, you’re not the only one. Most apps and the actual OS system for smartphones are designed with smaller screens in mind. That being said, Lenovo certainly made some changes and adapted Android to their desired form.
In any case, we can’t wait to see the end result.
