Last year, LG launched its LG TONE Free earbuds with Google Assistant support and now the manufacturer is ready to unveil a new pair of wireless earbuds with some cool features.
The Tone Free HBS-FN6 earbuds’ case features UV light that kills 99.9 percent of the bacteria on their speaker mesh and just became available in the US for $149.99.
Besides the “UVnano” self-cleaning technology feature, the earbuds integrate dual microphones to compensate the lack of noise cancellation feature, which should be able to help you reduce background noise. The battery life is pretty satisfying, six hours from the earbuds themselves, while you can get 12 hours of charge from the case.
The earbuds come in black and white color options and feature rubber tips, with a familiar stem design that is common in wireless earbuds. In terms of audio quality, the earbuds integrate customized EQ sound settings developed by Meridian.
The idea of using UV light to sterilize devices has become pretty popular among electronics companies, as the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak became a real concern.
