A truly immersive gaming experience is often multi-layered; storytelling, character design, audio and music, and much more all play a part in making games feel captivating. While gamers can’t control how the story or level is designed, with the new G560 Lightsync PC gaming speakers, they can place themselves directly within the game. Logitech’s latest PC gaming speakers uses innovative technology to place gamers inside a 3D light and sound space, drawing gamers into the virtual world using realistic positioned visual and audio cues.
One of the major features of the G560 Lightsync is its unique light technology. Logitech’s LIGHTSYNC RGB allows the speakers to blast light that matches in-game explosions, approaching enemies, new worlds visited, and more. Collaborating with game developers, Logitech utilized their RGB SDK (color software developing kit) to ensure that visuals within the game would be effectively replicated by the light produced from the speakers.
Additionally, Logitech gave gamers the freedom to customize audio visualization lighting color and effects. That means gamers can choose one of four areas on their monitor to assign to the lighting zones via Logitech Gaming Software. After that, the G560 speakers track the changes of that area in real time and modify the output lighting accordingly.
Whereas the lightsync helps immerse gamers in the visual world of the game, the positional audio technology allows gamers to hear where the sound sources are coming from. DTS:X Ultra tech, DTS’s powerful audio solution used by the G560 Lightsync, renders a 3D soundscape for games so users can hear their gaming environment from every angle. Channel-based audio sources such as 5.1 or 7.1 surround – standard for home surround sound set ups – become a multi-dimensional experiences with DTS:X Ultra as well. Each channel of the mix takes a unique position in a 3D soundscape.
These powerful speakers are available for just $199.
