Love Logitech’s MX Keys minimalistic keyboards that work seamlessly with multiple devices?
Now, there’s another option in town, even more simplified, and at the same price, with the same concave keys and scissor switches perfect for typing.
The Logitech MX Keys Mini ditches the numpad from the standard MX Keys but adds some cute keys for voice dictations, system mike mute (so no more accidents when using multiple apps) and even an emoji key.
The backlighting starts automatically once your hands are over the keyboard and turns off when you remove them.
“MX Keys Mini follows your Flow-enabled MX Anywhere 3 or MX Master 3 from one computer to another, meaning you can type on multiple devices in one fluid workflow.
Transfer files, documents, and images across devices and macOS and Windows operating systems,” says Logitech.
Just like its bigger brother, the MX Keys Mini can switch between three Bluetooth devices. Unlike the previous model, it won’t work with the Logitech unifying USB receiver, so, if you want that functionality, you’ll have to upgrade to the $15 Logi Bolt receiver.
What’s really great about this keyboard is the battery life though.
The Logitech MX Keys Mini goes up to 10 days if you keep the backlighting turned on but, if you turn that off, you can get up to five months of battery life.
