Photography is an expensive hobby, we all know that. So, if you took the plunge and bought your first DSLR, then your lens budget is probably pretty thin right now. Either you wait and save more money for them or you give Lomography’s versatile lenses a chance. They are supposed to fit any camera, be it film or digital #fotomagic
Lomography’s Neptune Convertible Art Lens System is composed of three fixed lenses. You’ve got your 35mm f3.5, the 50mm f2.8, and an 80mm f4.0. They don’t cost more than $599 and come with a mount of your choice. See, you can pair them with just about everything, from a Canon 5D Mark IV to an Olympus Pen-F. Plus, you can also get aperture plates for different bokeh shapes, if you want to experiment more in this phase.
The price is certainly attractive, as is the versatility of the mounts. Since buyers are obliged to choose a mount for a specific camera before ordering, you can’t use the same lenses for two different cameras. That would have been something, we know.
If you’re interested in their product, just head to Kickstarter and check out their campaign. You can choose between two lens colors – silver and black. The only inconvenient is that you’ll have to wait a while before using them since shipment starts at the end of the year or early January 2018.
