Several services within the game industry are offering free games during the COVID-19 pandemic. In May, Twitch Prime users will gain access to six free games.
According to a report by GameSpot, the free Twitch Prime games include: Snake Pass, Urban Trial Playground, Avicii Invector, Pankapu, The Little Acre, and Fracture Minds. Additionally, there is a plethora of free loot for several titles like Destiny 2 and League of Legends.
Snake Pass and Avicii Invector are some of the highlights of this set of games. Snake Pass is known as an incredibly challenging yet absorbing platformer where you control a slippery snake as it travels through a jungle terrain. Key to success is weaving and winding, using the snake’s natural movement as the way to move from obstacle to obstacle. Avicii Invector is a rhythm game set to some of Avicii’s most popular songs. The art style and game play match the EDM vibes of each of the songs.
