Minimalist Mechanical Keyboard On A Budget: Logitech Launches 2 Options

When you’re looking for a mechanical keyboard the options are usually RGB and extra RGB but Logitech just launched two new minimalist mechanical keyboards that look like a breath of fresh air.

Both the Logitech G413 TKL SE and the Logitech G G413 SE keep it simple and clean with an aluminum top case and white backlights for the keycaps.

The price also matches the looks, coming in at $70 and $80 respectively.

It’s unclear what type of switches these new Logitech keyboards use but, based on their “tactile mechanical switches” description, they sound like they could be Cherry MX Browns or perhaps MX Blues. On the G413 SE page, these keycaps are listed as PBT and give the actuation distance at 0.07 in (1.9 mm), the actuation force at 1.76 oz (50 g) and the total travel distance at 0.16in (4 mm).

Based on that and the 6-key rollover with anti-ghosting, these keyboards appear versatile enough to handle both gaming and intense typing for office tasks.

If you’re looking to integrate them into your Logitech setup, keep in mind they don’t have reprogrammable keys and they don’t work with the Logitech G Hub software.

Both the G G413 SE and G413 TKL SE are up for pre-order now.
