The makers of the most popular brand of robotic vacuum cleaners just debuted another game-changer for household chores.
Meet the Roomba i3+, the cheapest self-cleaning vacuum from their lineup.
The Roomba i3 Plus goes for $599 with the self-cleaning base and $300 without (though that option is certainly less tempting).
In comparison, the next model, the i7+, goes for $1000 and the i9+ is $1400.
The self-cleaning base, the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal, is the same one as the one for the Roomba i7+ and the i9+.
It works both as a charging dock and as a waste disposal bin, allowing you to almost forget about taking the trash out.
The makers say the Roomba i3+ has 10 times the suction power of the Roomba 600. Even more, it can “know” the areas more prone to dirt buildup and insist on them.
Using the iRobot home app, you can also get recommendations about cleaning schedules based on your pets, seasonal allergies and more.
Of course, you can also control it with your voice. The Roomba i3 Plus supports both Google Home and Alexa-enabled devices.
The new robot vacuum cleaner will be available in US and Canada later this month. The rest of the world will have to wait until 2021.
