Nintendo's Mario Red & Blue Edition Switch Is Here

Nintendo’s Mario Red & Blue Edition Switch game console is now available for purchase, at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Target.

The console follows the release of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and stands out due to the appearance of its accessories that resemble the outfit of the beloved character.

Marking the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, the new Nintendo Switch console features a red and blue color scheme and a free, matching carrying case.

“We hope players enjoy pouncing their way through two great Mario adventures in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, with lots of feline fun to be had whether playing solo or with family and friends,” Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated. “Along with the Nintendo Switch – Mario Red & Blue Edition system, we’re delighted to offer these new products that mark more than 35 years of Super Mario adventures.”

The limited-edition Switch features an all-red console, a red dock stand, a pair of red Joy-Cons, a red casing around the screen, and a blue Joy-Con grip, at the cost of $300.
