Are you ready to explore the galaxy in VR? This summer, No Man’s Sky is getting a large-scale update which will add free support for PlayStation VR and Steam VR. The developer claims that this means the entire game will be brought into VR, not just a separate mode.
Apparently, the update marks the second major pillar to the Beyond development that Hello Games previously announced. Although Beyond will come to all platforms, PS4 users will be able to get an exclusive package with the base game & updates, Beyond, and its VR support.
Thanks to the new features, the players will be able to play together more easily. This may turn the game more MMO-like, but Hello has said that they won’t have to pay as much.
That’s some pretty great news; you won’t have to pay for a subscription to play online and there won’t be any hidden in-game payments.
You will need your regular Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus subscription though.
