You’re running early Sunday morning or lifting weights at the gym after work. You’re in the zone – focused, ready to break your personal record. Then… kids start screaming in the park or people turn on the TV and leave on stupid music channels. Time to put on earbuds right? Usually, you dug them from your bag, fought to unscramble them and stil felt the wires all around you, like a vine. Well, now, you can get free from that fitness hell with truly, cord-free earbuds #objectmagic
Samsung worked on small, light earbuds without strings that help you stream music and keep track of your fitness progress. The Gear IconX come in three colors – white, blue, black -, in a case that doubles as a charger. Usually, the battery lasts 3 and 1/2 hours, after which you have to charge them using it.
With 4GB of internal memory, you’ll get to save and listen to 1000 tracks or keep your life in order. Assisted by a dedicated voice guide, you are going to be able to switch between functions. Just tap the earbuds to start selecting your activity – playing music, answering to calls or turning on the ambient mode (where you can listen to your playlist and the world around you).
By syncing the earbuds with your smartphone after a workout, you will see fitness stats (heart rate, steps, calories burned) in S Health. Of course, you can associate them with any other Android phone (instead of the Samsung Galaxy series) but it has to run on Android 4.4 KitKat and above.
From all the gadgets sporting S Health, these seem to be the most portable and light ones, one reason why they receive our blessing. Check them out this fall, at the price of $199.
