In less than a week, the much-awaited OnePlus 5 will be revealed. Although leaked renders have shown it’s quite the iPhone 7 twin, we hadn’t heard anything about specs… until now. The latest rumors are talking about an impressive amount of RAM and a great rear camera module #mobilemagic
Tecnoblog released a series of specs that pertain to the one and only OnePlus 5. According to the publication, the flagship is going to come with the latest chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 835, and 6 or 8GB of RAM. The impressive memory will be accompanied by a kickass camera sensor. The dual rear cameras seen in official OnePlus teasers will have a 16MP + 20 MP sensor combo, with f/1.7 and f/2.6 aperture.
Internal storage will come in two variants – the now classic 64GB or 128GB. OnePlus 5 will be powered by a 3,300 mAh battery with Dash Charge which is going to take users to almost 100% in 60 minutes. The chassis will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen and a ceramic-coated fingerprint scanner placed on the bottom front.
The only inconvenient for OnePlus fans is going to be the elevated price. The company is supposedly preparing to release the new device for $479, that’s $40 than the retail price of OnePlus 3T. That said, this handset will come with upgraded materials and hardware, so the price is justified.
Remember, until June 20, the official unveiling date of OnePlus 5, anything is subject to change.
