According to sources close to Android Central, OnePlus is operating on a new affordable smartphone called the OnePlus Nord SE, soon after coming up with the budget Nord N100 and Nord N10 5G.
Sources believe the smartphone will integrate an AMOLED screen, in comparison to the Nord N10 5G and N100 that has LCD panels. There are no mentions regarding the 90Hz refresh rate seen on the original, but rumor has it the OnePlus Nord SE will cost a little bit more than its siblings.
The good news is the smartphone would reach the market in 2021, with improved specs. OnePlus Nord SE will have a 4500mAh battery, and Warp Charge 65 support. This way, the device will reach its full charge stage in less than 40 minutes.
There is no word as to when the device will arrive in the U.S, or regarding the pricing of the device, but the report mentions that Nord SE will launch in India and the EU in early 2021.
