It was just yesterday that OnePlus teased the debut of its newest device, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G and we already have some leaks popping up online.
According to inside sources, the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750, a chipset that we’ve already seen on the Galaxy A52 5G as well as on the Xiaomi Mi 10i. So if it wasn’t clear by now, the Nord CD 5G will be a mid-range device.
It will feature a 6.43 inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, marking a return to familiarity since the first Nord featured it but not the Nord N10 and the N100, which launched with LCD panels instead.
As far as cameras go, we will find a 16MP selfie shooter on the front while the rear will offer a 64MP lens, accompanied by two auxiliary sensors. The report does not tell us anything about the specifications of the other two cameras. The OnePlus Nord featured a 48MP main, an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP depth and a 2MP macro, if these are any indication on what to expect from the Nord CE 5G.
Another change will be the camera housing itself, which will be a rectangular setup placed on the upper left side of the back panel, similar to the OnePlus 9.
The phone will make its debut on June 10th and it’s expected to arrive with a price tag of roughly around $275, at least based on the gossip mill online.
We’ll keep you updated when we find out more – there’s still a way to go to June 10th and we can expect more leaks and rumors to make an appearance by then.
