Famed outlet Slashleaks spotted the leaked Oppo A5 press renders and also got dibs on the device’s specifications, which don’t look half bad. The Oppo A5 comes with a generous 6.2-inch display with a fashionable notch. However, the resolution is only 1520 x 720 and there’s also a bottom bezel, so don’t expect an incredible screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, the Oppo A5 sports a Snapdragon 450 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
On the back, you’ll find a dual rear camera of 13 MP + 2MP depth of field sensor, while the front offers an 8MP selfie shooter. All of it is powered by a 4,230 mAh battery. The Oppo A5 will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo.
While it lacks a fingerprint scanner, it does offer a headphone jack. All in all, it’s a reasonable offering from Oppo. The only thing to know now is the price, which, based on the specs, should fall under $200.
