Remember the 5x optical zoom technology Oppo presented at Mobile World Congress last year? This month, the smartphone maker might just debut it on a brand new handset, called the Find X.
Oppo is planning to revive the Find X line next week, on June 19 more exactly, at the Louvre, in Paris. The latest rumors indicate the company has finally managed to bring the infamous 5x optical zoom showed last year on this device. The clever construction of the camera module means it doesn’t get thicker than 5.7mm, which fits the annual mobile trend of “the slimmer, the better.”
Word is Vivo Find X will also offer the crazy Super VOOC fast charging system. If you didn’t know, this technology is capable of charging a 2,500mAh cell completely in just 15 minutes! It would be great if Vivo managed to integrate it now.
The rest of the specs are anyone’s guess, although a new Oppo model showed up on the TENAA website in China. If they are one and the same, then Find X will sport a 6.4-inch screen, run on a Snapdragon 845 processor, offer 8GB of RAM, and a dual-lens camera with 20MP and 16MP lenses, coupled with a 25MP selfie shooter.
Either way, we’ll know for sure on June 19 and we’ll get to test the device in Shanghai towards the end of the month, at Mobile World Congress!
