Back in May, when the Oppo Realme 1 showed up, Oppo made quite a splash. Now, the company is trying to capture lightning in a bottle and just unveiled the Oppo Realme 2.
However, while the gorgeous diamond-patterned back is back, on the specs front there’s a few steps forward and one big step back.
The Oppo Realme 2 upgrades to a 6.2-inch display but curiously brings an inferior, 720 x 1520 px resolution, which will definitely dissapoint quite a few people.
However, on the battery front, the Realme 2 brings a 24% larger battery of 4,230 mAh which, according to Oppo, will bring you 44 hours of call time, 18 of music and 10 of gaming.
On the front you’ll find the same 8 MP f/2.2 aperture sensor but on the back the Realme 2 upgrades to a dual 13MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 camera setup, near which you’ll also find a fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, Oppo offers either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM with 32 GB or 64 GB of storage expandable via microSD. In India, the cheapest option will be approximately $130, while the 4 GB + 32 GB Realme will set people back around $150. Not bad for such a flashy device, right?
