PlayStation 5 First-Party Launch Day Titles Announced

In the past week, Sony has announced the PlayStation 5 pricing model, release dates, and new games via their PlayStation 5 Showcase. In a follow up post on the PlayStation blog, they also announced the PlayStation 5 games pricing scheme. Also in the post is a note on what games will be available at launch for the PlayStation 5.

The following Sony Interactive Entertainment studio games will be available at launch:

• Astro’s Playroom (pre-installed on the PS5)
• Demon’s Souls ($69.99)
• Destruction All Stars ($69.99)
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales ($49.99)
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition ($69.99)
• Sackboy A Big Adventure ($59.99)

To note, there may be third-party studio games released Day 1 as well as enhancements from PlayStation 4 games. Also, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition will include a remastered version of the original Marvel’s Spider-Man.

More games are sure to come to PlayStation throughout the holiday season, but these launch titles (as well as the PlayStation Plus Collection) will certainly keep gamers entertained for hours.
